Heavy Equipment Maintenance Mechanic at CattleCrete
As an Equipment Maintenance Technician at CattleCrete, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing the equipment that powers our concrete and paving crews across the Midwest. Based out of Morrill, Nebraska, this role requires travel, independence, and strong mechanical knowledge. You’ll take charge of keeping our pavers, plants, rollers, saws, and other job-critical machinery running at peak performance — with the support of a top-tier team behind you.

What You’ll Be Doing
As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for keeping our concrete and paving equipment running strong across projects throughout the Midwest. Based out of Morrill, Nebraska, this is a hands-on, field-based role where you’ll maintain pavers, plants, rollers, trowels, saws, and other heavy machinery. You’ll work independently, using your own tools, with the support of a service truck, company credit card, and a crew that values doing things right.
Key Focuses:
Maintain and repair loaders, skid steers, dozers, excavators, trucks, RCC pavers, rollers, and concrete mixing plants.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, basic electrical, and powertrain issues.
Troubleshoot plant systems: conveyors, motors, sensors, scales, gates, and control components.
Perform preventive maintenance, major repairs, and field service calls.
Complete welding and fabrication work as part of equipment and plant repairs.
Keep tools, parts, and service documentation organized and accurate.
Communicate equipment needs and repair timelines clearly.

Requirements:
Proven heavy equipment and diesel mechanic experience.
Basic electrical experience required.

Self-directed, dependable, and capable of working independently.
